Dr. Shyam Indrakanti was born in India and moved to California during middle school. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology from UC Berkeley in 2010 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UCLA in 2017, where he excelled academically. Afterward, Dr. Indrakanti moved to Texas to undergo extensive training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, completing both his medical doctorate and surgical training by 2023. In early 2024 he applied for and successfully attained board certification and is a recognized diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He now serves as a respected oral surgeon in Mesquite, Texas, working collaboratively with nearly all premier dental practitioners in the area. Outside of work, he enjoys culinary pursuits, digital content creation, pickleball and road cycling.
